I&#039;d never heard of &lt;em&gt;Bent&lt;/em&gt; either until recently. I think &lt;em&gt;Croupier&lt;/em&gt; still is the film that truly launched Owen&#039;s career as that was when most audience members, myself included, first noticed him. &lt;em&gt;Bent&lt;/em&gt; is actually the film he did right before &lt;em&gt;Croupier&lt;/em&gt;.

I should have mentioned this in my review but &lt;em&gt;Bent&lt;/em&gt; also features Ian McKellen and Mick Jagger in significant cameo roles and if you look closely you&#039;ll also spot at-the-time-unknown actors like Jude Law and Paul Bettany playing Nazis!
