I think we were all lovestruck by her in Amelie but she’ll never be a great actress.

I saw He Loves Me…He Loves Me Not on World Movies a while ago and thought it was decent though utterly predictable. She does plays the unhinged, loopy obsessed woman pretty well though!

I’ve never seen A Very Long Engagement, but Hunting and Gathering is a really decent film too, though a very modest one.

Their releases often come way down in price after a while so can often eventually be bought cheaply from discount CD shops and bargain bins in stores like Borders.

I just felt that it fell severely short of all the expectations it created.

Have you seen He Loves Me… He Loves Me Not? I started watching it on DVD but turned it off after about 20 minutes. I’d be curious to know if it got any better.

Once you seen let me know if you think my criticisms are valid or if you think I am way off.

On another issue, I do like Audrey Tautou but with the exception of Amelie, The Spanish Apartment and, to a lesser degree, Dirty Pretty Things has she actually done anything else that is all that good?
